About me

I travelled with my parents all my life, starting in Dhaka, Bengladesh, where I was almost eaten by a rat. After two
years we moved to Abidjan, Ivory Coast, where a chimp
called Jojo drank all my coca cola.
I was born in Paris in 1981, the year Pacman was invented, Grandmaster Flash introduced scratching to the world, and "There's no one quite like Grandma", by St Winifred's School Choir, was number one hit in the UK.

In Montréal, a grey squirrel ate the pumpkin
we had grown all summer for Halloween. I played in a
triangular park, skied around the house, and survived
black flies and snow storms thanks to a healthy diet of
poutine and oreilles de criss.

In Hong Kong, I learned ice-skating in a giant
shopping mall and pedalo on a great reservoir,
and most importantly, mastered the art of chopsticks.

At 12, I came back to France, in Bordeaux, where I lived in a house that was not square.

Eventually I moved to
Geneva in Switzerland,
my other country.
There I discovered the
importance of chocolate,
went to university to perfect
my photocopying skills,
became a professional
Christmas wrapper, and
learned to teach to herds
of teenagers.

And now I'm living in London, where I have studied journalism, met people from all around the world and discovered seedless grapes and brussel sprouts branches...
